Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

Your chosen travel offer has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on board the ship is always for seven days according to the itinerary. The pre- and post-cruise stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

The Nile cruise ship of the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain has a total of 77 outside cabins spread across various decks. It also features a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, and a sun deck with a pool and bar. Beach towels are included on board.

SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select

Location

Clear sea water in front of a sandy shore with a beach hotel on the horizon under a blue sky.
The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened for the first time in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, hotel-owned sandy lagoon beach, offering perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty makes it easier to enter the deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The Schauinsland-Reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 203 rooms and suites spread across different buildings. The complex has a reception with seating areas and an adjoining outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adults-only pool (Oasis Pool), as well as an island and kids' pool (all pools are heated in winter). The restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which serves as an international à la carte restaurant until the evening and as an Italian à la carte restaurant in the evening. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the holiday resort has a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

The Executive Suites are larger (EX2, approx. 70 sqm) with similar amenities to the Double Rooms Superior. The rooms have a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a dressing room, a bathroom with a separate shower, a seating area, and a terrace. Also bookable as a swim-up room with direct access to the shared pool (EXG). Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children. Deluxe Beach Front Swim-up Suite

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 sqm and have similar amenities to the Double Rooms, with a terrace. The rooms are located very close to the beach. For an additional charge, they are also bookable with direct access to a private pool (BSD). Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children. Therefore, for safety reasons for children, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types.

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 80 sqm and consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with two twin beds. The rooms have similar amenities and additionally a balcony with a jacuzzi and sea view.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea as well as various fresh juices (7-10:30 AM and late risers' breakfast 10:30-11 AM on request), lunch (1-3 PM) and dinner (7-10 PM) buffet-style. If needed, the following à la carte restaurants are also fully included (subject to availability with prior reservation): "Basilico" (7-10:30 AM à la carte breakfast, 12:30-5 PM international cuisine, 7-10 PM Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30 PM to 10 PM and offers Asian cuisine. At the "Indigo Bar," coffee, tea, and cake are served daily from 3 PM to 5 PM. A midnight snack is available to guests from 11 PM to 1 AM in the Boscage Restaurant.
