Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. Embarkation takes place on Thursdays.
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West
to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1, 2, 3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, cruise to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to Medinet Habu Temple (1, 2, 3).
Then continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and cruise to Kom Ombo, where you have free time.
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1, 2, 3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1, 2, 3).
Afterwards, opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visit a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2, 3). Breakfast box is included.

Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo (1, 2, 3).
Then continue via Edfu and Esna to Luxor.

The Nile cruise ship from the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain features a total of 77 outside cabins distributed across various decks. Steigenberger Resort Alaya

Location

The 5-star luxury hotel complex is located in the heart of the beautiful Madinat Coraya. Access to the sea is possible via a jetty. From here, the picturesque underwater world of Madinat Coraya can be discovered. The resort also has its own sandy beach section and is only about 5 km from Marsa Alam airport.

Amenities

The beautiful adults-only facility (bookable from 16 years of age) has 290 elegantly furnished rooms and suites. The spacious reception area offers guests a reception and a lobby bar with seating. The hotel has a souvenir shop and a hairdresser. A main restaurant and four à la carte restaurants ("Basilico" Italian, "Rocca" Asian, "Zaytoun" Oriental, "Mashawi" Seafood) provide for the physical well-being of the guests and spoil you with delicious dishes. In the various bars, you receive a wide selection of drinks.
In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five generously laid-out pools (partly heatable in winter) and inviting sun terraces.
