Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 10 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation takes place on Thursdays.
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West
to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon departure to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast, visit to Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and travel to Kom Ombo where you have free time.
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visit a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3). Breakfast package is included.

Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then visit the Kom Ombo Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue via Edfu and Esna to Luxor.

The Nile cruise ship of the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain has a total of 77 outside cabins spread over several decks. Steigenberger Resort Alaya

Location

The 5-star luxury hotel complex is located in the heart of the beautiful Madinat Coraya. Access to the sea is possible via a jetty. From here, the picturesque underwater world of Madinat Coraya can be discovered. The resort also has its own sandy beach section and is only approx. 5 km from Marsa Alam Airport.

Ausstattung

The beautiful adults-only complex (bookable from 16 years) has 290 elegantly furnished rooms and suites. The spacious reception area offers guests a lobby and a lobby bar with seating. The hotel has a souvenir shop and a hairdresser. A main restaurant and four à-la-carte restaurants ("Basilico" Italian, "Rocca" Asian, "Zaytoun" Oriental, "Mashawi" Seafood) cater to guests' culinary well-being and pamper you with delicious dishes. You can get a wide selection of drinks in the various bars.
In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five generously laid-out pools (partially heated in winter) and inviting sun terraces.

The Royal Suites (RSM) are luxuriously furnished and have the same equipment as the double rooms. The Royal Suite is approx. 160 m² and is additionally equipped with 2 bathrooms with bathtub, Jacuzzi, living area, sleeping area, and has a terrace with a private pool.

Double Room Superior

The comfortably furnished Double Superior (DSU) rooms are 40 m² and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, LED TV, safe, telephone (for a fee), balcony, and garden view.

The Double Superior Swim Up (DWP) rooms are, with the same equipment as the Double Superior, somewhat more spacious (approx. 50 m²) and have their own direct pool access from the terrace.

The Double Deluxe Swim Up (DWU) rooms can be booked as Schauinsland-Original rooms. With the same equipment as the Double Superior, they are more spacious (approx. 70 m²) and have their own access to the sharing pool.
