Travel information

Combination package including a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West
to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3. Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to Medinet Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and sailing to Kom Ombo where you have free time at your disposal.
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visiting a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

The Nile cruise ship from the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain features a total of 77 outside cabins distributed across various decks. Furthermore, there is a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, and a sun deck with a pool and bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Situated in a slightly elevated position above the beach bay of Madinat Coraya lies the hotel JAZ Lamaya. The beautiful, intact house reef with corals that reach up to the shore offers ideal conditions for snorkeling and diving. Access to the sea is approximately 150m from the hotel. A jetty leads directly from the hotel into the water. Numerous shops, bars, and a beautiful promenade can be found in the idyllic port town of Port Ghalib. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam airport is about 8 km.

Facilities

This hotel complex was specially designed for a relaxing family holiday. The very elegant and spacious resort was built in a Moorish-Oriental style and features a total of 389 rooms, distributed across a main building and several two- and three-story residential buildings. The hotel features a stylish lobby with a reception and seating areas, a main restaurant with a non-smoking zone, a hairdresser, several shops, a bar, and an amphitheater. In the expansive outdoor area, you will find a generously designed pool landscape with four swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) with a separate children's pool (heated in winter), a hangout area, and a beach/pool bar, as well as a new Food Court at the beach with snacks, drinks, and desserts.
