Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West
to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and sail to Kom Ombo where you have free time.
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.

The Nile cruise ship of the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain has a total of 77 exterior cabins spread across different decks. It also features a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, and a sun deck with a pool and bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The holiday resort is situated directly on the beachfront, at the most beautiful snorkeling and diving spots in the bay, offering the opportunity to explore the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea directly from the gently sloping beach.
The town center of Hurghada is approx. 37 km away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 32 km away.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and features 240 rooms and suites spread across various building complexes. With its unique and high-quality dining concept, the hotel stands out in Egypt, offering a selection of three in-house à la carte restaurants ("Lucina" - international cuisine, "Gaia" - Italian cuisine, and "Yades" - Greek cuisine) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The unique dining concept offers breakfast from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 1 PM to 4 PM, and dinner from 7 PM to 10 PM in one of the hotel's three à la carte restaurants ("Lucina", "Gaia", "Yades"). As a Posh Club member (booked suite), you also have the option to have your breakfast exclusively in the "Posh Club Lounge". A sparkling wine breakfast is included in all four restaurants. Additionally, dinner can optionally be enjoyed in the buffet restaurant or in one of the eight different à la carte restaurants of the "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (Mexican, Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Steak, Diet & Light, Bedouin Restaurant).
