Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. Embarkation takes place on Thursdays.
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast excursion to Thebes-West
to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast visit to Medinet Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and sail to Kom Ombo where you have free time.
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon Felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3)
Then opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3). Breakfast box is included.

The Nile cruise ship of the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain has a total of 77 outside cabins distributed over various decks. Furthermore, there is a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, as well as a sun deck with a pool and bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The approx. 50 m² (incl. 4 m² balcony/terrace) Jacuzzi suites (S2J) feature a couple's Jacuzzi, shower, WC, vanity mirror, air conditioning, safe, minibar (daily replenishment with water, juice, beer, soft drinks), Smart TV with German channels, coffee and tea making facilities, as well as a swing chair on the terrace.

The Penthouse Suites (P2) located on the upper floors are equipped like the Jacuzzi suites but are more spacious at approx. 107 m² (incl. 16 m² balcony), with their own living room, private pool (heated in winter), and a breathtaking view over the Red Sea.
