Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your day of arrival and day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation takes place on Thursdays.
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West
to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon cruise to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and cruise to Kom Ombo, where you will have free time.
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3)
Afterwards, opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visiting a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.

Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3). Breakfast box is included.

Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then proceed to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo (1,2,3).
Afterwards, continue via Edfu and Esna to Luxor.

The Nile cruise ship from the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain features a total of 77 exterior cabins spread across different decks. Furthermore, there is a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, and a sun deck with a pool and bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The approx. 50 m² (incl. 4 m² balcony/terrace) Jacuzzi suites (S2J) feature a couple's Jacuzzi, shower, WC, vanity mirror, air conditioning, safe, minibar (daily refilled with water, juice, beer, soft drinks), Smart-TV with German channels, coffee and tea making machine, as well as a swing chair on the terrace.

Penthouse

The penthouse suites (P2) located on the upper floors are equipped like the Jacuzzi suites, but are more spacious at approx. 107 m² (incl. 16 m² balcony), featuring a private living room, a private pool (heated in winter), and a breathtaking view over the Red Sea.

Super Saver Room
