Travel Information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always takes place for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West
to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and sailing to Kom Ombo where you have free time.
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3)

The Nile cruise ship of the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain has a total of 77 outside cabins spread across various decks. There is also a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, and a sun deck with a pool and bar. Beach towels are included on board.

The popular Iberotel Makadi Beach hotel is located directly on the beautiful and long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef grows to the shore in some places and offers excellent diving and snorkeling conditions. The Makadi Souk is just a few meters from the hotel, where you can look for souvenirs or enjoy oriental dishes in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is located about 35 km to the north.

Facilities

The spacious complex with double-storey units stretching along the pool and garden landscape to the beach leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, a welcoming lobby with reception, a fun pub, shops, and boutiques. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and two à la carte restaurants, as well as an oriental restaurant. Further à la carte restaurants are available to guests in Madinat Makadi for a fee.
