Travel Information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West
to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and sail to Kom Ombo, where you will have free time.
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3)
Then there is an opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.

Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3). Breakfast package is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, visit the Kom Ombo Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue via Edfu and Esna to Luxor.
Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 7:
At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).

Facilities

The Nile cruise ship of the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain has a total of 77 outside cabins spread across various decks. It also features a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, and a sun deck with a pool and bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Spend your most beautiful time of the year in the wonderful complex of Albatros Palace Resort. This very generously designed holiday complex is located directly on the hotel's own sandy beach with a house reef. Here you can experience the beauty of the Red Sea while diving and snorkeling. The center of Hurghada is about 18 km away, the airport about 11 km.

Facilities

Design your holiday day with numerous activities, then relax in the wellness area and enjoy international delicacies in the various restaurants. The attractive hotel in the upper-class category consists of a main building and several annexes, which house a total of 621 rooms. The hotel offers a reception with a spacious lobby in the luxurious entrance area, a hairdresser/beauty salon (for a fee), a shopping arcade, and an ATM. Six restaurants, including Asian and Italian cuisine, various bars, cafes, and an oriental pub delight the palate.
