Travel information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected lasts for 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
After breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West
to Hatshepsut's Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
After breakfast, visit to the Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and sailing to Kom Ombo where you will have free time.
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3)
Then an opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

Early morning at 3:30 AM, optional excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3). Breakfast package included.

Facilities

The Nile cruise ship from the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain has a total of 77 exterior cabins spread across various decks. It also features a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, and a sun deck with a pool and bar. Beach towels are included on board.

The Mövenpick Resort & Spa is located in the heart of El Gouna, idyllically situated on one of the numerous peninsulas with its own exclusive beach, nestled between the Red Sea and a picturesque lagoon. The charming town center of El Gouna, offering a plethora of restaurants and shops, is about 1.5 km away. The picturesque Abu Tig Marina, an exclusive yacht harbor with a variety of restaurants and shopping opportunities, can be reached after approx. 3.5 km. The resort is located about 27 km north of Hurghada city center and approx. 40 km from Hurghada Airport.

Facilities

The spacious hotel complex in Mediterranean style comprises a total of 420 rooms, harmoniously spread across seven different buildings. The particularly spacious and elegantly furnished reception hall welcomes guests with a stylish reception and comfortable seating areas; safes are available there free of charge. Culinary highlights are provided by the buffet restaurant "Palavrion" and two à la carte restaurants, offering an exquisite selection of seafood and oriental specialties. The offering is rounded off by a cozy bar, two pool bars, and a souvenir shop. The hotel's own spa area invites guests to relax with six different treatment rooms. The Deluxe Double Rooms Lagoon View (D2L) have the same amenities as the double rooms and offer a view of the lagoon or partial sea view, with a balcony or terrace.

Family Room
