Travel Information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on board the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West
to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and sail to Kom Ombo where you will have free time.
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3)
Then an opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visit a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

In the early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3). Breakfast box included.

Then continue via Edfu and Esna to Luxor.

Facilities

The Nile cruise ship, belonging to the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain, has a total of 77 exterior cabins spread across various decks. It also features a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (upon request), a souvenir shop, and a sun deck with a pool and bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Built in Nubian style, the Sheraton Miramar Resort invites you to relax and unwind. The beautiful hotel complex extends over nine small islands, on which the various hotel buildings are spread out. The island landscape is connected by wooden bridges. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, the location creates a very special atmosphere that immediately evokes a holiday mood. The hotel is located about 25 km north of Hurghada, just a few minutes' drive from the center of El Gouna with its various shops, restaurants, and bars. For a fee, you can use the regular boat and bus shuttle. Hurghada Airport is about 40 km away.

The resort, designed by the renowned architect Michael Graves, with 339 rooms, fascinates with its colorful combination of Arabic and Nubian style as well as its location amidst a beautiful, exotic garden landscape. Double Room Superior with Pool or Lagoon View

The comfortably furnished rooms (DSU) have been recently renovated and are approximately 38 sqm. The rooms feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (replenished daily with soft drinks), coffee and tea maker, safe, and a balcony or terrace with a view of the hotel's lagoon. Double Room Premium with Side Sea View

The rooms (P2D) have a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (replenished daily with soft drinks), coffee and tea maker, seating area, safe, and a balcony or terrace. Beachfront Deluxe Room

The newly renovated Beachfront Deluxe Rooms (BF2) offer the same amenities as the Double Rooms, but are located directly on the beach. Also available for single use (BF1).

The main restaurant "Miramar" offers breakfast (7:00 AM - 10:30 AM) and dinner (6:00 PM - 9:30 PM) as a buffet. Lunch is served in the "Miramar" or "Waves" restaurant. Local beer, local spirits, and local wines, soft drinks, ice cream, tea, mineral water, and coffee are included around the clock at the open bar. Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants in other hotels – at no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded). Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: once for stays of four nights or more, up to three times for five to seven nights, and up to four times for eight nights or more. Guests of 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants.
