Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation takes place on Thursdays.
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West
to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3. Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and trip to Kom Ombo where you have free time.
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Aswan Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3)
Then opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visiting a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5. Day:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3). Breakfast package is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
6. Day:
Breakfast on board. Then off to visit the Kom Ombo Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue via Edfu and Esna to Luxor.
Overnight stay and dinner on board.
7. Day:
At 5 a.m. excursion by hot air balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak as well as the Luxor Temple (1,2,3).

Facilities

The Nile cruise ship from the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain features a total of 77 outside cabins spread over various decks. Furthermore, there is a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, as well as a sun deck with a pool and bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Steigenberger Resort Alaya

Location

The 5-star luxury hotel complex is located in the heart of the beautiful Madinat Coraya. Access to the sea is possible via a jetty. From here, the picturesque underwater world of Madinat Coraya can be discovered. The resort also has its own sandy beach area and is only approx. 5 km from Marsa Alam Airport.

Facilities

The beautiful adults-only complex (bookable from 16 years) features 290 elegantly furnished rooms and suites. The spacious reception area offers guests a reception and a lobby bar with seating. The hotel has a souvenir shop and a hairdresser. A main restaurant and four à-la-carte restaurants ("Basilico" - Italian, "Rocca" - Asian, "Zaytoun" - Oriental, "Mashawi" - Seafood) provide for the culinary well-being of the guests with delicious dishes. In the various bars, you will receive a wide selection of drinks.
In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five generously laid out pools (some can be heated in winter) and inviting sun terraces.
