Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most affordable available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must start at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West
to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and sailing to Kom Ombo, where you will have free time.
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.

Early in the morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3). Breakfast package included.

Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, visit to Kom Ombo Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue via Edfu and Esna to Luxor.
Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 7:
At 5 am, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked locally).

Facilities

The Nile cruise ship from the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain has a total of 77 exterior cabins spread across various decks. There is also a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, and a sun deck with a pool and bar. Beach towels are included on board.

The resort of the renowned Steigenberger chain is located in a quiet area, directly on the gently sloping, private sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a dream holiday destination offering ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious adults-only (bookable for ages 16 and up) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms boasts a warm and oriental ambiance. Facilities include a welcoming lobby with reception, ensuring you feel comfortable from the very first moment, as well as several shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. For culinary variety, there is a main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean cuisine), and various bars.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a Dine Around option: per stay, one visit to the Italian à la carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" Restaurant, or the Oriental "Zaytoun" is included for All Inclusive guests (reservation required).

Breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, all buffet style. Throughout the day, there are various snacks for light hunger.
In the afternoon, enjoy tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cake from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, and ice cream from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as fresh juice, are available from 10 AM to midnight. "Pharao Club" guests receive one à la carte dinner per stay (at "Fayruz"), reservation required. A fruit basket upon arrival. Additionally, a daily bottle of water (two bottles in family rooms) is included, as well as coffee and tea. Beach towels are changed daily, and use of the Health Club is free of charge.
