Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced room category available. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always used.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

At 5 a.m., a balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3. Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5. Day:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
6. Day:
Breakfast on board. Afterward, the ship sails to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7. Day:
Breakfast. Afterward, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Arriving there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, which are spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness center, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same facilities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot drinks. For lunch and dinner, two soft drinks and one small bottle of water per person are included.

SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select

Location

Clear sea with beach and hotel buildings on the horizon under blue sky.
The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened in April 2024, impresses with its modern bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach, making it the perfect condition for snorkelers and divers. The jetty facilitates entry into deeper water. The airport of Marsa Alam is approximately 90 kilometers away from the hotel.

Facilities

The Schauinsland-Reisen original hotel was built in a classy bohemian style and features 203 rooms and suites, which are distributed among different buildings. The facility features a reception with seating areas and an accompanying outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the facility, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis Pool), as well as an island and kidspool (all pools are heatable in winter). The restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the À-la-carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), as well as the "Basilico", which is operated until the evening as an international À-la-carte restaurant and in the evening as an Italian À-la-carte restaurant. All À-la-carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of them adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the holiday resort has a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a miniclub, as well as different shops.

The modern furnished rooms (DSU, approx. 40 m²) are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, seating area, and balcony.

Family room bunk bed

Family suite

The rooms (2FS) have the same equipment elements as the Superior double rooms but are larger (approx. 50 m²) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a shower and a terrace.

Junior suite

With the same equipment as the Superior double rooms, but more spacious (JS2, approx. 55 m²) and with a living area.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1YZ).

With the same equipment as the Superior double rooms, but more spacious (2YZ, approx. 60 m²), with a small seating area and a terrace with access to a small private pool. Bookable for single occupancy (1YZ).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites are larger with similar equipment features as the Superior double rooms (ES2, approx. 70 m²). The rooms feature a bedroom with a queen-size bed, dressing room, bathroom with separate shower, seating area, and terrace.
Also bookable as a swim-up room with direct access to the sharing pool (EXG).

Deluxe Beach Front

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 m² in size and, with similar equipment features to the double rooms, have a terrace. The rooms are in the immediate vicinity of the beach and feature a bedroom with a queen-size bed as well as a living room.

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite sea view

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 80 m² in size and consists of a bedroom with a queen-size bed as well as a living room. With otherwise similar equipment features, the rooms additionally have a balcony with a Jacuzzi and a view of the sea.

Upon request, the following À-la-carte restaurants are also unlimitedly included for you (depending on availability with advance reservation): "Basilico" (12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. international cuisine, 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. Italian cuisine) as well as "Manzoku", which is open from 6:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. and offers Asian cuisine.
