Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A balloon flight is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a viewing of the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Afterwards, the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be added on-site).

Amenities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and have shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), sitting area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed without a sitting area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have otherwise the same amenities as the suites, but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and possibly without a French balcony and without a sitting area, instead having a non-opening window.

JAZ Elite Maraya

The modern and stylish JAZ Elite Maraya is located in a dreamlike position directly by the sea, in the idyllic Madinat Coraya. Here, you will spend a relaxing holiday where recreation and family fun can be easily reconciled. The sandy beach in the elongated bay is just a few minutes' walk away (beach section of the adjacent hotel JAZ Solaya). The distance to Marsa Alam Airport is only approx. 5 km.

The hotel complex "JAZ Elite Maraya" was completely newly built in 2018/19 and opened for the 2019 summer season.
The modern hotel in a stylish ambience with a total of 202 rooms offers a special variety of activities for families with children and is therefore perfect for a relaxing holiday in Egypt.
Children can enjoy themselves in the large splash kids' pool with fun water games as well as an octopus slide, build sandcastles in the sand playground, or spend adventurous hours in the beautiful kids' club. To let off steam, they can go climbing or play football on the large outdoor playground.
In the family area, parents and children can rest together and recharge their energy. There, all guests have access to a main pool (heatable in winter). International and regional cuisine is offered in the main restaurant in varied buffets. For the little guests, there is a kids' buffet. A special culinary highlight is a visit to one of the three specialty restaurants "Nino's" and "Sofra" for lovers of Italian and oriental cuisine, as well as "MoMo" for lovers of Asian cuisine (subject to availability and with prior reservation).

With similar features to the family rooms, but furnished in the popular Katta style (KWF), these rooms make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms have 2 rooms with a connecting door to the parents' bedroom and are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.

Deluxe Family Room

The Deluxe Family Rooms (2DF) have the same amenities as the Superior Family Rooms but are even more spacious (63 m²) and additionally equipped with a cozy sitting area.

Katta's Deluxe Family Room

With similar features to the Deluxe Family Rooms, but furnished in the popular Katta style (KWD), these rooms make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.
