Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all transfers in between. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Itinerary

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then continue back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be added on-site).
Day 8:
Departure.

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small gym, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same features as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same features as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.
Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot beverages. For lunch and dinner, two soft drinks and a small bottle of water per person are included.

JAZ Elite Maraya

Location

The modern and stylish JAZ Elite Maraya is in a fantastic location directly by the sea, in the idyllic Madinat Coraya. Here you can spend a relaxing holiday where recreation and family fun can be easily reconciled. The sandy beach in the elongated bay is only a few minutes' walk away (beach section of the neighboring hotel JAZ Solaya). The distance to Marsa Alam airport is only approx. 5 km.

Facilities

The hotel complex "JAZ Elite Maraya" was completely newly built in 2018/19 and opened for the 2019 summer season.
The modern hotel in a stylish ambiance with a total of 202 rooms offers a variety of activities for families with children to a special degree, making it perfect for a relaxed and restful holiday in Egypt.
Children can enjoy themselves in the large Splash-Kids Pool with fun water games as well as an octopus slide, build sandcastles in the sand playground, or spend eventful hours in the beautiful kids' club. To let off steam, they can go climbing or play soccer on the large outdoor playground.
In the family area, parents and children can rest together and recharge their batteries. A main pool (heatable in winter) is available to all guests there. International and local cuisine is offered in the main restaurant in varied buffets. For the little guests, there is the kids' buffet. A special culinary highlight is a visit to one of the three specialty restaurants, "Nino's" and "Sofra" for lovers of Italian and oriental cuisine, as well as "MoMo" for lovers of Asian cuisine (subject to availability and with prior reservation).
Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are included at the pools and on the beach.

The attractive Superior Double Rooms (DSU) are approx. 42 m² in size and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, cosmetic mirror, individually controlled air conditioning, safe, tea/coffee maker, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony or terrace and have a garden view.

Superior Family Room

The Superior Family Rooms (DF2) have the same features as the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 52 m²) and feature a living/bedroom area for the children as well as a separate bedroom for the parents separated by a door.
Also bookable as Superior Family Room sea side (FY2) or with pool view (FUP).

Katta Family Room

With similar features to the family rooms, but furnished in the popular Katta style (KWF), these rooms make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms have 2 rooms with a connecting door at the parents' bedroom and are equipped with a bunk bed for children.
Also bookable as Katta Family Room sea side (KWS) for an extra charge or as Katta Superior Family Room pool view (KPW).

Deluxe Family Room

The Deluxe Family Rooms (2DF) have the same features as the Superior Family Rooms but are even more spacious (63 m²) and additionally equipped with a cozy seating area.
Also bookable with pool view (FPD), sea view (F2D), or on the sea side (FXD).

Katta Deluxe Family Room

With similar features to the Deluxe Family Rooms, but furnished in the popular Katta style (KWD), these rooms make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.
Also bookable as Katta Deluxe Family Room on the sea side (FDK).

Deluxe Family Room Type A

Same features as the Deluxe Family Room, but bookable with 2 adults and 3 children or 2 adults, 2 children, and a baby. The 3rd child will then sleep in the parents' bed or in a baby cot. (ADF)
Optionally also bookable on the sea side (FXA).

Katta Deluxe Family Room Type A (KWA)

With the same features as the Katta Deluxe Family Rooms, but bookable with 2 adults and 3 children or 2 adults, 2 children, and a baby. The 3rd child will then sleep in the parents' bed or in a baby cot.
Optionally also bookable with pool view (AKP) or on the sea side (FDA).

Family Junior Suite Sea View

With the same features as the Deluxe Family Room (2FJ, approx. 86 m²), the suite has a private pool and sea view.

With the same features as the Superior Double Room, but larger (KSM, approx. 86m²) and furnished in the popular Katta style, these rooms make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms are equipped with a bunk bed for the children. The rooms have a private pool.
