The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is situated on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section in the first row of the popular bay of Marsa Mares. The bay is particularly known for its sea turtle population and features a house reef ideal for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday accommodation is located about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (approx. 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex features a total of 272 rooms and suites spread across the entire complex. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very appealing, elegant design and has been conceived with great spaciousness. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay, and includes a reception with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area features a large pool landscape that winds through the complex. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for guests in the pool area and on the private beach section, and bath and beach towels are already provided in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex boasts a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with panoramic views of the bay and the pool landscape. Adjacent to this is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are at your disposal.

Double Room Superior

The friendly and stylish Double Rooms Superior (DSU, approx. 51 sqm) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. A tea and coffee station is also available in the room. The rooms have a terrace or balcony. Also available with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also available for single occupancy.

Double Room Superior Sea View Guaranteed Top Floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Rooms Superior and offer a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also available for single occupancy (MSE).

Double Room Premium Swim-up

The Double Rooms Premium Swim-up (DWP) are bookable as schauinsland-reisen Original rooms and have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, but with direct access to the shared pool. The rooms also feature the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket in the room upon arrival
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, plus 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and assorted Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, the à la carte restaurants are included only once).

Double Deluxe

The Double Deluxe (DD2) rooms have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior but are larger (approx. 56 sqm) and, due to their amenities (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area), are suitable for families. Optionally available with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150 sqm) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. Furthermore, the Executive Suites have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153 sqm and, with the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, feature a king-size bed and a dining set. Furthermore, the rooms have a spacious terrace with access to the private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea view.

Double Room Superior Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers an international cuisine for breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM), and dinner (7-10 PM) in buffet style. Additionally, a late riser's breakfast is available from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. The resort also features two à la carte restaurants (reservations required), which are included once per stay/guest (except for the Teppanyaki restaurant) but incur a charge thereafter: "Tao Tao" restaurant offers a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or teppanyaki. The "Bay View" à la carte restaurant offers fine dining Mediterranean cuisine. Afternoon tea is served from 12:30 PM to 5 PM. Various bars offer refreshments and snacks throughout the day, such as the "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar," "Fantasia Lobby Bar," and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.
Gentlemen must wear long trousers and appropriate footwear; no tank tops or shorts of any length.
While shorts are acceptable for ladies during dinner, hot pants and very short shorts are not.

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must start at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.

A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modern, exterior cabins distributed across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and refreshing drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite
