Located in the beautiful bay of Marsa Mubarak is the Iberotel Costa Mares hotel, part of the renowned Jaz Hotel Group. The offshore coral reef offers a fascinating underwater world for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the most famous spots for diving with dugongs and turtles.
The nearest town with a beautiful marina and various shopping and entertainment opportunities is about 5 km away. The distance to Marsa Alam Airport is only about 8 km.

The modern hotel complex (from Winter 2025/2026 Adult only from 16 years!) has a total of 208 rooms spread across the main building and outbuildings. The stylish hotel is equipped with a modern lobby with reception, a gym, various shops, and a spa area. For your culinary well-being, there is a buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace and two à la carte restaurants. The "Anchor" offers Italian specialties, and "Sands" is located on the beach and offers international cuisine (included once a week with a minimum stay of 7 nights - subject to availability - reservation required), as well as several bars.
In the well-maintained outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heated in winter).
Sun loungers, cushions, and umbrellas are available to guests free of charge at the pool and on the beach. Beach and bath towels are provided fresh in the rooms daily.

The Double Superior Bay View rooms (SVB) are 29 sqm and have a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, TV, air conditioning, coffee and tea maker, safe, telephone, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony.

Superior Family Room Garden View

The Family Rooms Superior Garden View (F2S) have the same amenities as the Double Superior (29 sqm), but with an additional sofa bed. The rooms are located on the ground floor.

Junior Suite Sea View

The Junior Suites Sea View (J2M) are equipped like the Double Superior, but are larger (120 sqm) and have a direct sea view.

Deluxe Family Room Pool or Sea View

The Deluxe Family Rooms Pool or Sea View (FMD) have the same amenities as the Double Superior Bay View, but are larger (approx. 45 sqm).
The rooms are located on the ground floor.

Deluxe Family Room Bay View

The Deluxe Family Rooms Bay View (BDV) are approx. 46 sqm and consist of 2 rooms with an interconnecting door, with garden or beach view, otherwise with the same amenities as the Double Superior.

All Inclusive

Breakfast from 7-10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30-2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30-9 PM (winter) and 7-9:30 PM (summer) in buffet form at the main restaurant. Late riser breakfast is available from 10:30-11:30 AM at the beach bar. Various snacks from 1 PM-4 PM with ice cream, coffee/tea, and cake. Selected local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10 AM to midnight. Imported alcoholic drinks are not included in the All Inclusive. Once per stay, the à la carte restaurant at the beach restaurant is included per person (subject to prior reservation and availability).

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Thursdays. Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.

A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the French balcony.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites and possibly without a French balcony and seating area, but with a non-opening window.
