Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all inter-transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, which are spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Indulge in culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available to you. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Accommodation

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same features as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same features as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same features as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may be without a French balcony and without a seating area, instead featuring a window that cannot be opened.

The beautiful resort of the renowned Three Corners hotel chain is located in the first beach row, directly on the approx. 1 km long sandy beach with its own offshore house reef. Enjoy the sun of Egypt on the fine sandy beach or experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea while snorkeling. A pier over 350 m long offers easy access to the sea and the untouched areas of the coral reef. About 2 km away is "Port Ghalib", a small harbor town with some shopping and entertainment options as well as a harbor promenade that invites you to stroll. Marsa Alam Airport is only about 10 km away.

Facilities

The Fayrouz Plaza Beach Resort complex consists of a large and friendly designed main building and several one- and two-story side buildings with a total of 495 rooms. The spacious reception hall with reception is located in the main building. A selection of culinary specialties is offered by the main restaurant "Panorama" with a view of the pool, the Belgian à-la-carte restaurant "Chez Pascal" (for a fee), the Italian à-la-carte restaurant "Dolce Vita", and the Oriental "Marhaba Restaurant" (reservation required), as well as various bars. The hotel's offer is supplemented by a bazaar as well as a pharmacy and a hairdresser.
In the spacious garden, there are two swimming pools (heatable in winter), one of which has a separate children's pool. In the newly built part of the complex is the "Dolphin Pool" with the "Dolphin Bar". Towels, loungers, and umbrellas are available free of charge at the hotel's own beach and pools.

The comfortably furnished premium rooms (PDZ) with twin beds or a kingsize bed (approx. 28 m²) have a shower/WC, air conditioning, safe, telephone, satellite TV, hairdryer, mini-fridge (contents for a fee), and a balcony or terrace. The premium rooms have a garden, pool, or partial sea view.
Also bookable for single use (PEZ) for an extra charge.

Family rooms

The family rooms (DF2) consist of one room (approx. 32 m²) with the same features as the premium rooms, which can be separated into two sleeping areas by a sliding door. Further equipment, in addition to air conditioning, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, and mini-fridge (contents for a fee), includes a bathroom with WC/shower. The rooms are located on the ground floor in the main building, have a garden or mountain view, and feature a terrace.

Double room Premium Grand (RMFA05):

The Double rooms Premium Grand (bookable from winter 25) are approx. 32 m² and have a sliding door, so the room can be divided into two separate sleeping areas. In addition, these rooms are located on the ground floor (GD2).
