Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be used.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 AM, a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, only bookable on site).
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Then proceed to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Then proceed to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
Upon arrival in Kom Ombo, the Temple of Kom Ombo can be visited (1,2,3).
Continue sailing towards Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile.
Then, an opportunity to visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast pack included.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Continue sailing to Esna.
Day 6:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Continue sailing to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board.
Visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. A reading corner and a lounge bar complement the offerings. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiards room on board. SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select

Location

The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which first opened its doors in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, private lagoon sandy beach, offering the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty makes it easier to enter deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers away from the hotel.

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 203 rooms and suites distributed across various buildings. The complex has a reception with seating areas and an associated outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis Pool), as well as an island pool and a kids' pool (all pools are heated in winter). Restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which operates as an international à la carte restaurant until the evening and as an Italian à la carte restaurant in the evening. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the holiday resort has a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

Junior Suite Swim Up

With the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, but more spacious (SUJ, approx. 60 sqm). In addition, these rooms have access to the shared swim-up pool. Also bookable for single use (SUE).

Deluxe Beach Front Swim-up Suite

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 sqm and have a terrace with similar amenities to the double rooms. The rooms are located in close proximity to the beach.

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast with coffee and tea, as well as various freshly squeezed juices (7 AM - 10:30 AM, and late riser breakfast from 10:30 AM - 11 AM upon request), lunch (1 PM - 3 PM), and dinner (7 PM - 10 PM) in buffet style. If needed, the following à la carte restaurants are also fully included (subject to availability and prior reservation): "Basilico" (7 AM - 10:30 AM à la carte breakfast, 12:30 PM - 5 PM international cuisine, 7 PM - 10 PM Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30 PM - 10 PM and offers Asian cuisine. At the "Indigo Bar," coffee, tea, and cake are served daily from 3 PM to 5 PM. A midnight snack is available to guests from 11 PM to 1 AM in the Boscage Restaurant. Local non-alcoholic beverages are available around the clock at one of the seven different bars (one of the bars is adults only). Local alcoholic beverages are included from 10 AM to midnight.

An indoor fitness studio with various CrossFit equipment is available to guests free of charge from 8 AM to 8 PM. The minimum age for the fitness studio is 16 years.
