Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always used.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride can be booked in the morning at 5 a.m. (optional, can only be booked locally).
Breakfast on board. Afterward, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1, 2, 3), Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3), and the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3).
Lunch on board. Afterward, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Afterward, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arrival in Kom Ombo, you can visit the Temple of Kom Ombo (1, 2, 3).
Continue journey towards Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 4:
After breakfast in the morning, visit the Aswan High Dam (1, 2, 3).
Afterward, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile.
Afterward, opportunity to visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2, 3), breakfast box is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Continue to Esna.
Day 6:
After breakfast in the morning, visit the Temple of Edfu (1, 2, 3). Continue to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board.
Visit the East Bank with the Luxor (1, 2, 3) and Karnak Temples (1, 2, 3).
Day 8:
Departure.

Steigenberger Resort Alaya

Location

The 5-star luxury hotel complex is located in the heart of the beautiful Madinat Coraya. Access to the sea is possible via a jetty. From here, you can discover the picturesque underwater world of Madinat Coraya. The resort also has its own sandy beach section and is only about 5 km from Marsa Alam Airport.

Amenities

The beautiful adults-only facility (bookable from 16 years of age) has 290 elegantly furnished rooms and suites. The spacious lobby area offers guests a reception and a lobby bar with seating. The hotel has a souvenir shop and a hairdresser. A main restaurant and four à-la-carte restaurants ("Basilico" - Italian, "Rocca" - Asian, "Zaytoun" - Oriental, "Mashawi" - Seafood) cater to your culinary needs. You can get a wide selection of drinks at the various bars.
In the outdoor area of the facility, there are five generously designed pools (some can be heated in winter) and inviting sun terraces.

The comfortably furnished Double Superior (DSU) rooms are 40 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, LED TV, safe, telephone (for a fee), balcony, and garden view.

Double Superior Swim Up

The Double Superior Swim Up (DWP) rooms have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms but are slightly more spacious (approx. 50 m²) and have private, direct pool access from the terrace.
