Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next available embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
In the morning at 5 AM, a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, bookable on site only).
Breakfast on board. Afterward, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1, 2, 3), Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3), and the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3).
Lunch on board. Afterward, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Afterward, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arrival in Kom Ombo, the Temple of Kom Ombo can be visited there (1, 2, 3).
Continue toward Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1, 2, 3).
Afterward, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile.
Afterward, opportunity for a tour of a Nubian village (3).

Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2, 3), breakfast box is included.

Continue to Esna.
Day 6:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu (1, 2, 3). Continue to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.
Day 7:

Visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1, 2, 3) and Karnak Temple (1, 2, 3).

Location

The resort of the renowned Steigenberger chain is located in a quiet area, directly on the gently sloping, hotel-owned sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a fantastic vacation destination that offers ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam Airport is about 8 km.

Amenities

The spacious adults-only hotel complex (bookable from 16 years) with a total of 364 elegant rooms has a warm and oriental ambiance. Amenities include an inviting lobby with a reception to make you feel at home from the first moment, as well as several shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. A main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean dishes), and various bars provide culinary variety.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a "Dine Around" option: per stay, one visit to the Italian à la carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" restaurant, or the oriental "Zaytoun" is included for All Inclusive guests (reservation required).
In the outdoor area, there are 3 pools (one of which is heated) and a pool/beach bar. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge at the hotel's own beach and pools.

Superior double room sea view guaranteed upper floors

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen original rooms (XO2) are equipped like the superior double rooms and feature a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be located on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Junior suite

The junior suites (JS2) are approx. 42 m² in size and feature a bath or shower/WC, a spacious bedroom, and a separate living area (separated by a door). The junior suites have a pool or sea view.

Breakfast from 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM, each buffet style. Throughout the day, various snacks for small appetites are available.
Afternoon tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cake from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM and ice cream from 10 AM – 5 PM.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as fresh juice from 10 AM – midnight. "Pharao Club" guests have one dinner included per stay in an à la carte restaurant (at the "Fayruz"), registration required. Upon arrival, a fruit basket.
