Travel information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and harbor are included.

Arrival and boarding. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 AM, a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, only bookable on site).
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Then, we continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Then, we continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arriving in Kom Ombo, the Kom Ombo Temple can be visited (1,2,3).
We continue sailing towards Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile.
Then, there's an opportunity to visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, there is an opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
We continue sailing to Esna.
Day 6:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Continue sailing to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.

Visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. A reading corner and a lounge bar complement the offerings. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiards room on board. Location

Enjoy a wonderful family vacation at the "Steigenberger Aqua Magic". The 5-star hotel offers fun for the whole family and delights young and old with its extensive water park. The tastefully designed promenade "ALDAU Art Promenade" separates the complex from the sandy beach, which is approximately 400 meters away and slopes gently into the sea. Here, you can be fascinated by the magical underwater world of the Red Sea while snorkeling or diving. If needed, the hotel offers shuttle services to the beach (subject to availability). Your holiday destination is located in the newer district of Hurghada on a modern promenade with oriental cafes, bars, and international pubs, as well as small shops. The center of Hurghada with the well-known "Sakalla" is about 6 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 5 km away.

The extensive hotel complex is particularly child-friendly and designed for families, featuring 718 generously equipped rooms and suites. The complex welcomes guests in a spacious lobby with a reception and lobby bar, as well as a cozy lounge with seating areas. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel. The outdoor area features seven swimming pools, one with an integrated children's pool, covering over 2,600m², which are partially heated in winter. The hotel also boasts an aquapark with various water slides, accessible for children over 1.20 meters tall. The highlight for all water enthusiasts is the 400-meter-long "Lazy River" that winds through the entire complex. On the rooftop terrace, there is a relaxation pool accessible only to adults. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge for guests at the pools and on the beach. The "Magic Flavors" main restaurant caters to your culinary needs, in addition to three à la carte restaurants, a snack bar, and various pool and beach bars. Family Junior Suite

The Family Junior Suites (FJ2/FJA, approx. 68 sqm) have the same amenities as the Family Suites, but feature a master bedroom and a separate living/sleeping area. Aqua Suite

The Aqua Suite (S2, approx. 70 sqm) consists of a living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom. Otherwise, it has the same features as the Deluxe Double Rooms.

Standard Double Room

The Double Rooms (DA) have similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms but are slightly smaller (approx. 24 sqm), however, they are renovated in a modern style. The rooms do not have a balcony. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free.

The main restaurant "Magic Flavors" offers breakfast (7 AM - 10:30 AM), lunch (1 PM - 3 PM), and dinner (6 PM - 9:30 PM) buffet-style with theme nights and live cooking stations. Additionally, the following à la carte restaurants are available: The "Magic Orient Restaurant" offers oriental dinners. The "Magic Palappa Restaurant" offers Italian cuisine for breakfast (8 AM - 10:30 AM), late breakfast (10:30 AM - 12 PM), lunch (1 PM - 4 PM), and dinner (6:30 PM - 9 PM). The "Magic Sky Restaurant" offers dinner (6:30 PM - 9 PM) on the rooftop. All mentioned restaurants are included once a week (for stays of 5 nights or more) and require reservation.
