Travel information

Combination package featuring a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always seven days as per the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing of the East Bank in Luxor. 5 AM optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins, spread across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The offering is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole window.

JAZ Elite Maraya

The modern and stylish JAZ Elite Maraya is in a fantastic location directly by the sea, in the idyllic Madinat Coraya. Here, you will spend a relaxing holiday where recreation and family fun are easily balanced. The sandy beach in the elongated bathing bay is only a few minutes' walk away (beach section of the adjacent JAZ Solaya hotel). The distance to Marsa Alam airport is only approx. 5 km.

Facilities

The "JAZ Elite Maraya" hotel complex was completely newly built in 2018/19 and opened for the 2019 summer season.
The modern hotel in a stylish ambiance with a total of 202 rooms offers a particular variety of activities for families with children, making it perfect for a relaxed and restful holiday in Egypt.
Children can enjoy the large Splash Kids pool with fun water features and an octopus slide, build sandcastles in the sand playground, or spend eventful hours in the beautiful Kids Club. For climbing or football, head to the large outdoor playground.
In the family area, parents and children can rest together and recharge their energy. A main pool (heatable in winter) is available to all guests there. International and local cuisine is offered in the main restaurant in varied buffets. For our little guests, there is a Kids Buffet. A special culinary highlight is a visit to one of the three specialty restaurants "Nino's" and "Sofra" for lovers of Italian and oriental cuisine, as well as "MoMo" for lovers of Asian cuisine (subject to availability and with prior reservation).
Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are included at the pools and on the beach.

Superior Family Room

The Superior Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 52 m²) and feature a living/sleeping area for the children as well as a bedroom separated by a door for the parents.
Also bookable as Superior Family Room Seaside (FY2) or with Pool View (FUP).

Katta's Family Room

With similar equipment elements to the family rooms, but furnished in the popular Katta-style (KWF), these rooms make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms have 2 rooms with a connecting door at the parents' bedroom and are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.
Also bookable as Katta's Family Room Seaside (KWS) for an extra charge or as Katta's Superior Family Room Pool View (KPW).

Deluxe Family Room

The Deluxe Family Rooms (2DF) have the same equipment as the Superior Family Rooms, but are even more spacious (63 m²) and additionally equipped with a cozy seating area.
Also bookable with Pool View (FPD), Sea View (F2D), or Seaside (FXD).

Katta's Deluxe Family Room

With similar equipment elements to the Deluxe Family Rooms, but furnished in the popular Katta-style (KWD), these rooms make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.

Same equipment as the Deluxe Family Room, but bookable for 2 adults and 3 children or 2 adults, 2 children, and one baby. The 3rd child will sleep in the parents' bed or in a baby cot. (ADF)

Katta's Deluxe Family Room Type A (KWA)

With the same equipment as Katta's Deluxe Family Rooms, but bookable for 2 adults and 3 children or 2 adults, 2 children, and one baby. The 3rd child will sleep in the parents' bed or in a baby cot.

Family Junior Suite Sea View

Breakfast from 7-10 am, lunch from 12:30-2:30 pm, and dinner from 6:30-9 pm in buffet style in the main restaurant with its own children's corner for little guests and various theme evenings. Late-riser breakfast from 10:30-11:30 am at the pool bar. Dinner in the à-la-carte restaurant "Sea Horse" (prior reservation required) or Dine Around (1x per stay included) in the Italian or Oriental restaurant (subject to availability and with prior reservation).
Afternoon snacks and ice cream for children at the pool and beach bar. Coffee and cake are prepared and served in the afternoon in various variations. The Madinat Coraya Food Court offers snacks, soft drinks, and desserts on the beach from 12-4 pm.
