Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to embarkation is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3), dinner, and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Departure from Esna.
Continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.
Lunch and dinner, as well as overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your physical well-being. The offering is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

Cabin single occupancy

Equipped the same as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The resort of the renowned Steigenberger chain is located in a quiet area, directly on the gently sloping, hotel-owned sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a dream holiday destination, which offers ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib as well as to Marsa Alam airport is approximately 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious adults-only hotel complex (bookable from 16 years) with a total of 364 elegant rooms has a warm and oriental ambiance. Facilities include an inviting lobby with reception to make you feel comfortable from the first moment, as well as some shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. Culinary variety is provided by a main restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean dishes), and various bars.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a Dine Around: Once per stay, a visit to the Italian à-la-carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" restaurant, or the oriental "Zaytoun" is included for All-Inclusive guests (reservation required).
In the outdoor area, there are 3 pools (one of which is heatable) and a pool/beach bar. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge at the hotel's own beach and at the pools.

Superior double room with guaranteed sea view on upper floors

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen original rooms (XO2) are equipped like the Superior double rooms and feature a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be located on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Breakfast from 6:30-10:30 a.m., lunch from 12:30-2:30 p.m., and dinner from 6:30-9:30 p.m., each in buffet form. During the day, there are various snacks for the small hunger in between.
In the afternoon, tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cake from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and ice cream from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as fresh juice from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. "Pharaoh Club" guests have 1 dinner per stay in an à-la-carte restaurant included (in the "Fayruz"), registration required.
