Product information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next available boarding date will always be used.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continued sailing from Esna.
Then, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.
Lunch and dinner, as well as overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

Luxor Museum

The ship features a friendly reception area and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. Cozy lounge bar complements the offerings. A small bazaar invites you to browse and shop. The spacious sun deck has a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet-style. Drinks available at a charge.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore performances.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
Cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Cabin

These cabins (K1B) have the same amenities as the standard cabins, but are slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and have only one bed. The window cannot be opened.

The resort of the renowned Steigenberger chain is located quietly, directly on the gently sloping, hotel-owned sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a dreamlike holiday destination offering ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam Airport is about 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious adults-only (bookable from 16 years) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms has a warm and oriental ambiance. Facilities include an inviting lobby with a reception, ensuring you feel comfortable from the very first moment, as well as several shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. For culinary variety, there is a main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean cuisine), and various bars.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a Dine Around: per stay, one visit to the Italian à la carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" restaurant, or the oriental "Zaytoun" is included for All Inclusive guests (reservation required).
In the outdoor area, there are 3 pools (one of which is heated) and a pool/beach bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the hotel's private beach and by the pools.

The Superior Double rooms (DSU) are approx. 30 sqm, bright and friendly furnished, and feature a shower/WC (bathrobe and slippers included in the Pharao Club), hairdryer, air conditioning (individually adjustable), telephone, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), safe, coffee and tea maker, smoke detector, and a balcony or terrace with garden view.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double rooms (DD2) have the same amenities as the Superior Double rooms, but are slightly larger (approx. 34 sqm) and equipped with additional sofa beds.

Superior Double Room Guaranteed Upper Floors Sea View

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen-Original rooms (XO2) are equipped like the Superior Double rooms and offer sea views. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also bookable for single occupancy (XO1).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) are approx. 42 sqm and feature a bathroom or shower/WC, a spacious bedroom, and a separate living area (separated by a door). The Junior Suites have pool or sea views.
