Travel information

Combination package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. Embarkation will always be the next possible one.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always takes seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continued journey from Esna.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by cozy lounge bars. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single occupancy cabin

With the same furnishings as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The resort of the renowned Steigenberger chain is located quietly, directly on the gently sloping, private sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a dream holiday destination offering ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious adults-only (bookable from 16 years) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms features a warm and oriental ambiance. Facilities include a welcoming lobby with a reception, so you can feel at home from the first moment, as well as several shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. For culinary variety, there is a main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean cuisine) and various bars.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a Dine Around: per stay, one visit to the Italian à la carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" Restaurant, or the oriental "Zaytoun" is included for All Inclusive guests (reservations required).
In the outdoor area, there are 3 pools (one of which is heated) and a pool/beach bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the hotel's private beach and by the pools.

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms (XO2) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, all buffet style. During the day, various snacks are available for in-between.
Afternoon tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cake from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM and ice cream from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and fresh juice from 10 AM to midnight. "Pharao Club" guests receive 1 dinner in an à la carte restaurant (at "Fayruz") per stay, reservation required.
