Product information

Combination product of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Day 1:
Arrival and boarding. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then it goes back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Departure.

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread across three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and generously designed reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also offers ample loungers for relaxation and a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served as a buffet. Drinks are available at a charge.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with belly dancers, Galabeya parties, folklore shows, and a night disco.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) have a bathroom with a bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Single Cabin

With the same furnishings as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

Booking note: Please note that if you have a return flight to/from Hurghada or Marsa Alam, at least one overnight stay in a hotel is required before or after the Nile cruise.
No overnight stay is necessary for a return flight to/from Luxor.

The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping stretch of beach in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for its resident turtles and has a house reef for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday accommodation is located about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at Port Ghalib harbor (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the complex. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very attractive, elegant design and has been generously conceived. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay and has a reception with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area features a large pool landscape that winds through the resort. There are seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for guests in the pool area and on the private beach section. Bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are at your disposal.

Double Room Superior

The friendly furnished Double Rooms Superior (DSU, approx. 51m²) have a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or balcony. Also available with pool (DSP), side (DSS) and sea view (DMU). Also available for single use.

Double Room Superior with guaranteed sea view on the top floor

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Rooms Superior and offer a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also available for single use (MSE).

Double Room Premium Swim-up

The Double Rooms Premium Swim-up (DWP) are bookable as Schauinsland-Reisen original rooms and have the same features as the Double Rooms Superior, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also offer the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, plus 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, the à la carte restaurants are only included once).

Double Deluxe Room

The Double Deluxe rooms (DD2) have the same features as the Double Rooms Superior but are larger (approx. 56m²) and are suitable for families due to their amenities (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Also bookable with a side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as a swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and have a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² and, with the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, have a king-size bed and a dining area. The rooms also feature a luxurious terrace with access to the private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea view.

Double Room Superior Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise identical amenities to the Double Rooms Superior, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM), and dinner (7-10 PM) in buffet style. A late riser's breakfast is also available from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. Additionally, guests can enjoy two à la carte restaurants (reservations required), which are included once per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but are charged thereafter: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or teppanyaki. The "Bay View" à la carte restaurant offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. Afternoon tea is served from 12:30 PM to 5 PM. Various bars offer a range of refreshments and snacks throughout the day, such as the "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.
Gentlemen must wear long trousers and appropriate footwear; no tank tops or shorts of any length.
While shorts are acceptable for women at dinner, hot pants and very short shorts are not.
