Travel information

Package product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to embarkation is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation: Thursdays.
The itinerary may shift depending on the embarkation day.
Itinerary:
1. Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon flight is possible (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3. Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5. Day:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
6. Day:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7. Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread over three different decks. On the middle deck you will find an impressive and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch and dinner in buffet form. Refreshing drinks are provided by two bars, one of which is located on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. On the sun deck there are also sufficient sun loungers for the necessary relaxation as well as a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) have a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar and safe. In addition, all cabins have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Single occupancy cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

Location

The JAZ Lamaya Hotel is located in a slightly elevated position above the beach bay of Madinat Coraya. The beautiful intact house reef with corals that partly reach to the shore offers ideal conditions for snorkelling and diving. The access to the sea is approx. 150 m away from the hotel. A jetty leads directly into the water at the hotel. Numerous shops, bars and a beautiful promenade are located in the idyllic harbour town of Port Ghalib. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam airport is about 8 km.

This hotel complex was specially designed for a relaxing family holiday. The very elegant and spacious resort was built in a Moorish-Oriental style and has a total of 389 rooms, distributed over a main building and several two- and three-storey residential buildings. The hotel has a stylish lobby with reception and seating areas, a main restaurant with a non-smoking area, a hairdresser, several shops, a bar and an amphitheatre. In the extensive outdoor area there is a spacious pool landscape with four swimming pools (three of which can be heated in winter) with a separate children's pool (heated in winter), a hangout area and a beach/pool bar as well as a new food court on the beach with snacks, drinks and desserts. Bath towels, loungers and sunshades are provided free of charge at the hotel's private beach and by the pools. The Aqua Coraya water park is within walking distance and is sure to delight children.
