Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, sightseeing of the East Bank, the Karnak as well as the Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

The True Beach Resort, which consists of the sections „True Beach Resort“ (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), opened its doors for the first time in December 2023. The complex, designed in an Arabic boho style, is situated south of Marsa Alam and is located on a dreamy coastal stretch with an offshore bay with crystal-clear water in the first beach row. Offshore corals invite you to snorkel. Marsa Alam airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The Schauinsland-Reisen Original Hotel was built in an elegant Bohemian style, paired with modern Arabic accents, and thus offers a unique design in Egypt. The 5-Star complex consists of two sections, the "True Beach Resort", which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" as an adults-only area, which is bookable from 16 years of age. The complex has a total of 158 rooms distributed across both sections and offers a spacious reception area with reception as well as a lobby bar "True Lobby Bar" with seating in the interior and exterior areas (located in the resort). On the first floor of the lobby, there is a rooftop bar "Sama Bar". The village area of the resort (adults-only) is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that lead through the entire complex and are simultaneously the pools for the swim-up rooms, as well as an infinity pool that offers a view of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heatable). In the middle of the pool landscape, the pool bar "Scarab Bar" as well as the oriental restaurant "El Tawla" and a chaise lounge await you. Guests of the village section also have access to a Greek restaurant "ILIOS" and an Asian restaurant "NORI", both located on the beach. On the beach, guests additionally expect the bars "ILIOS Bar" and "Salt Bar". Furthermore, the guests of the village section have access to the main restaurant "El Manzil" and the fish restaurant "Ritsa" (both located in the resort area). The resort area has two spacious pools as well as a whirlpool, which is integrated into the main pool (main pool heatable in winter). An island in the main pool, reachable via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas for young and old with loungers and beanbags. Furthermore, the complex has the pool bar "Maya", a theater that offers various entertainment programs in the evening, as well as various shops, a hairdresser, and a spa area. Guests of the village area may use both sections, but not the other way around. Loungers, sun umbrellas, and bath towels are included at the pool and beach.

Alternatively, guests also have a daily à-la-carte breakfast available in the village area (adults-only) in the Greek restaurant.
Snacks are offered from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the outdoor area. Tea time from 3-4 p.m. with cake and fine pastries in the lobby bar.
