Travel information

Combination product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be taken.

Notice

Your chosen travel package has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Depending on the day of embarkation, the itinerary may vary.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional hot air balloon trip (can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut's Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then, continue to Aswan, where you will spend the night.
Lunch and dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
Opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes for your culinary enjoyment. The offering is complemented by cozy lounge bars. A small bazaar invites you to browse and shop. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The Equinox Beach Resort is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. Located directly on the beautiful Red Sea coast, the resort boasts a 400m long sandy beach and a 900m long coral reef, offering the best conditions for exploring the diversity of the colorful underwater world. The dive sites around Marsa Alam are among the most beautiful in the Red Sea, while the kilometers-long coral reefs offer snorkelers a breathtaking view. Entry into the sea is possible via the pier or directly from the beach. The coastal town of Marsa Alam and the small harbor town of Port Ghalib, with some shopping and entertainment options, are each about 35 km away. Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 30 km away.
