Travel information

Combination product featuring a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and harbor are included.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, sightseeing of the East Bank, the Karnak and the Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
3rd Day:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. Morning after breakfast excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening trip to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

5th Day:
Morning after breakfast visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Afterwards opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

The resort of the renowned Steigenberger chain is located in a quiet area, directly on the gently sloping, hotel-owned sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a dream holiday destination, which offers ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib as well as to Marsa Alam airport is about 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious adults-only (bookable from 16 years) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms features a warm and oriental ambiance. Facilities include an inviting lobby with a reception, so you feel comfortable from the first moment, as well as several shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. A main restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean dishes), and various bars provide culinary variety.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a dine-around: Per stay, one visit to the Italian à-la-carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" restaurant, or the oriental "Zaytoun" is included for All Inclusive guests (reservation required).

The double rooms Deluxe (DD2) have the same equipment as the double rooms Superior, but are slightly larger (approx. 34 m²) and are equipped with additional sofa beds.

Superior double room sea view guaranteed upper floors

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen-Original rooms (XO2) are equipped like the Superior double rooms and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be located on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Breakfast from 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., lunch from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m., and dinner from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., each in buffet style. During the day, there are various snacks for the small hunger in between.
In the afternoon, tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cake from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. and ice cream from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as fresh juice from 10 a.m. - 12 a.m. "Pharaoh Club" guests have 1 dinner per stay in an à-la-carte restaurant included (in the "Fayruz"), registration required.
