Travel Information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Sailing to Edfu in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.

In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner available. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the Nile landscape.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony. Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites and may lack a French balcony and a seating area, instead having a non-opening window.

The True Beach Resort, consisting of the sub-areas "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, fully renovated) and True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), opened its doors for the first time in December 2023. The complex, designed in an Arabic boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam on a stunning coastline with a pre-existing bay of crystal-clear water in the first beach line. Coral reefs offshore invite snorkeling. Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style, combined with modern Arabic accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sub-areas, the "True Beach Resort", which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" as an adults-only area, bookable from 16 years of age. The complex has a total of 158 rooms spread across both sub-areas and offers a spacious reception area with a reception desk and a lobby bar "True Lobby Bar" with seating areas both indoors and outdoors (located in the resort). On the first floor of the lobby is the rooftop bar "Sama Bar". The Village area of the resort (adults-only) is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that run through the entire complex and also serve as the pools for the swim-up rooms, as well as an infinity pool offering views of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, you will find the pool bar "Scarab Bar", the oriental restaurant "El Tawla", and a chaise lounge. Guests of the Village sub-area also have access to a Greek restaurant "ILIOS" and an Asian restaurant "NORI", both located on the beach. The beach also offers the bars "ILIOS Bar" and "Salt Bar". Furthermore, guests of the Village sub-area can use the main restaurant "El Manzil" and the fish restaurant "Ritsa" (both located in the resort area). The resort area has two spacious pools and a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (main pool heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. The complex also features the pool bar "Maya", a theater offering various entertainment programs in the evening, as well as various shops and a hairdresser and spa area. Guests of the Village area may use both sub-areas, but not vice versa. Sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the pool and on the beach.
