Travel information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The selected travel offer has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always follows the program for seven days. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).

In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small gym, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished Suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or a double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The True Beach Resort, consisting of the "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, fully renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), first opened its doors in December 2023. The complex, designed in an Arab boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam on a dreamlike stretch of coast with a bay in front of it with crystal-clear water, directly on the beachfront. Coral reefs in front invite snorkeling (swimming shoes recommended). Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel was built in an elegant Bohemian style combined with modern Arabic accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sections, the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444) as an Adult-Only area, bookable for ages 16 and up. The complex has a total of 158 rooms spread across both sections and offers a spacious reception area with a reception desk and a lobby bar "True Lobby Bar" with seating indoors and outdoors. The resort area has two spacious pools and a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (one of which is heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. A children's pool and a splash pool with various water games are located next to the mini-club and the adjacent playground with a sunshade. The main restaurant "El Manzil" offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style; additionally, the seafood restaurant "Ritsa" located on the beach is included once per stay. The three à la carte restaurants "El Tawla" (Oriental), "NORI" (Asian Fusion), and "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the Village area and are available for a fee (Adult only, reservation required). Furthermore, the complex features a pool bar "Maya," a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available, for a fee), a theater offering various entertainment programs in the evening, a beach bar, and various shops, a hairdresser, and a spa area. The Village area is surrounded by a generous water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that run through the entire complex, as well as an infinity pool offering views of the crystal-clear bay (all pools can be heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, you will find a pool bar "Scarab Bar" as well as the oriental restaurant "El Tawla" and a chaise lounge. Two more bars, "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" Bar, are located directly on the beach in the Village area. Guests of the Village area can use both sections, but not vice versa. Loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the pool and on the beach.
