Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise follows, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days as per the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (can be booked optionally on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, cruise to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins distributed across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a front desk. Indulge in culinary delights at the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner at your disposal. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness room that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Accommodation

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same features as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise feature the same equipment as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy suite

The economy suites (S2Z), while otherwise having the same equipment as the suites, are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may not have a French balcony or seating area, but rather a window that cannot be opened.

The True Beach Resort, which consists of the sub-areas „True Beach Resort“ (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), opened its doors for the first time in December 2023. The facility, designed in an Arabian boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam and sits on a stunning coastal stretch with a sheltered bay with crystal-clear water in the first beach row. Offshore corals invite you to snorkel (swimming shoes recommended). Marsa Alam Airport is located approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The Schauinsland-Reisen Original Hotel was built in an elegant bohemian style, paired with modern Arabian accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star facility consists of two sub-areas, the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444) as an adult-only area, which can be booked from age 16. The facility has a total of 158 rooms, distributed across both sub-areas, and offers a spacious reception area with a front desk as well as a lobby bar "True Lobby Bar" with seating in both the indoor and outdoor areas. The resort area has two spacious pools as well as a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (one of which can be heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. A children's pool and a children's splash pool with various water games are located next to the miniclub and the adjacent playground with sun sails. The main restaurant "El Manzil" offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form; in addition, the beach-located fish restaurant "Ritsa" is included once per stay. The three à-la-carte restaurants "El Tawla" (oriental), "NORI" (Asian-fusion), and "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the Village area and are for a fee (adult only, reservation required). Furthermore, the facility has a pool bar "Maya," a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available, for a fee), a theater that offers various entertainment programs in the evening, a beach bar, as well as various shops and a hairdresser and spa area. The village area is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that lead through the entire facility, as well as an infinity pool that offers a view of the crystal-clear bay (all pools can be heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, a pool bar "Scarab Bar" awaits you, as well as the oriental restaurant "El Tawla" and a chaise lounge. Two further bars, "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" Bar directly on the beach, are available in the Village area. Guests of the Village area may use both sub-areas, but not vice versa. Loungers, parasols, and pool towels are included at the pool and beach.

The friendly furnished double rooms Superior (DSU) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (filled upon arrival with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water, water is refilled daily), water kettle, and safe, seating area, and terrace, and are approx. 47 m² in size. Also available as Type I (DSI) with same equipment, limited quota, and special price. Optionally also bookable for single occupancy (DEU). Upgrade Double room Superior Sea View

The room (UMB) features, in addition to the same amenities as the double rooms Superior Sea View, the following:
