Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must arrive in Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must depart from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue journey from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.
Lunch and dinner, as well as overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Journey to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select

Location

Clear sea with beach and hotel buildings on the horizon under blue sky.
The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened in April 2024, impresses with its modern bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the beautiful, hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach, making it perfect for snorkelers and divers. The jetty facilitates access into deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel was built in an elegant bohemian style and features 203 rooms and suites spread across various buildings. The complex has a reception with seating areas and an accompanying outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis Pool), as well as an island pool and a kids' pool (all pools can be heated in winter). The restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à-la-carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which operates as an international à-la-carte restaurant until evening and as an Italian à-la-carte restaurant in the evening. All à-la-carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults-only, offer a selection of drinks. In addition, the holiday resort has a spa area, a gym, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

The modernly furnished rooms (DSU, approx. 40 m²) are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, seating area, and balcony.

The rooms (2FS) have the same equipment features as the superior double rooms, but are larger (approx. 50 m²) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a shower and a terrace.

Junior suite

With the same equipment as the superior double rooms, but more spacious (JS2, approx. 55 m²) and with a living area.

Executive Suite

The executive suites are larger (ES2, approx. 70 m²) with similar equipment features to the superior double rooms. The rooms have a bedroom with a queen-size bed, dressing room, bathroom with a separate shower, seating area, and terrace.

Deluxe Beach Front

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 m² and have a terrace with similar equipment features to the double rooms. The rooms are located in the immediate vicinity of the beach and have a bedroom with a queen-size bed as well as a living room.

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 80 m² and consists of a bedroom with a queen-size bed as well as a living room. With otherwise similar equipment features, the rooms additionally have a balcony with a jacuzzi and a view of the sea.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea as well as various freshly squeezed juices (7 AM - 10:30 AM), lunch (1 PM - 3 PM), and dinner (7 PM - 10 PM) in buffet form. As required, the following à-la-carte restaurants are also fully included for you (depending on availability with prior reservation): "Basilico" (12:30 PM - 5 PM international cuisine, 7 PM - 10 PM Italian cuisine) as well as "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30 PM - 10 PM and offers Asian cuisine. At the "Indigo Bar," coffee, tea, and cake are offered daily from 3 PM to 5 PM. A midnight snack is available to guests from 11 PM to 1 AM in the Boscage Restaurant.
