Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on MS Kleos and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on board the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, departure to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread across three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and generously designed reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also has ample loungers for relaxation and a generously designed pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) have a bathroom with bathtub/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select

Location

The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened for the first time in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach, offering the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty facilitates entry into deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and features 203 rooms and suites spread across various buildings. The complex has a reception with seating and an adjoining outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis Pool), as well as an island and kids' pool (all pools are heated in winter). Restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which serves as an international à la carte restaurant until the evening and an Italian à la carte restaurant in the evening. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. The Executive Suites have similar amenities to the double rooms superior and are larger (ES2, approx. 70 m²). The rooms (S2U) are approximately 45 m² and have a terrace with similar amenities to the double rooms. The rooms are located very close to the beach. Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approximately 80 m² and consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with two twin beds. The rooms have similar amenities and additionally a balcony with a jacuzzi and a sea view.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea, as well as various fresh juices (7-10:30 am and late riser breakfast 10:30-11 am upon request), lunch (1-3 pm), and dinner (7-10 pm) in buffet style. If needed, the following à la carte restaurants are also fully included (subject to availability with prior reservation): "Basilico" (7-10:30 am à la carte breakfast, 12:30-5 pm international cuisine, 7-10 pm Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30-10 pm and offers Asian cuisine. At the "Indigo Bar," coffee, tea, and cake are served daily from 3 pm to 5 pm. A midnight snack is available to guests from 11 pm to 1 am in the Boscage Restaurant. Local non-alcoholic drinks are available around the clock at one of the seven different bars (one of the bars is adult only). Local alcoholic drinks are included from 10 am to midnight.
