Location

The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened for the first time in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach and thus offers the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty facilitates entry into deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 203 rooms and suites spread across several buildings. The complex has a reception area with seating and an associated outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis Pool), and an island and kids' pool (all pools are heated in winter). The restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which serves as an international à la carte restaurant until the evening and an Italian à la carte restaurant in the evening. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the holiday resort has a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

The modernly furnished rooms (DSU, approx. 40 sqm) are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, seating area, and balcony.

The family rooms (2FA) have bunk beds and the same amenities as the superior double rooms.

Family Suite

The rooms (2FS) have the same amenities as the superior double rooms, but are larger (approx. 50 sqm) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a shower and a terrace.

Executive Suite

With similar amenities to the superior double rooms, the Executive Suites are larger (approx. 70 sqm). The rooms feature a bedroom with a queen-size bed, dressing room, bathroom with separate shower, seating area, and terrace.

Junior Suite Swim Up

With the same amenities as the superior double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 60 sqm). Additionally, these rooms have access to the shared swim-up pool. Also bookable for single occupancy (SUE).

Deluxe Beach Front Swim-up Suite

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 sqm and have similar amenities to the double rooms, with a terrace offering direct access to the shared pool. The rooms are located very close to the beach.
Also bookable at an additional charge with direct access to a private pool (BSD).

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 70 sqm and consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with two twin beds. The rooms have other similar amenities and additionally a balcony with a jacuzzi and a sea view.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea as well as various fresh juices (7-10:30 am and late riser breakfast 10:30-11 am upon request included), lunch (1-3 pm) and dinner (7-10 pm) buffet style. If needed, the following à la carte restaurants are also fully included for you (subject to availability with prior reservation): "Basilico" (7-10:30 am à la carte breakfast, 12:30-5 pm international cuisine, 7-10 pm Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30 pm to 10 pm and offers Asian cuisine. At the "Indigo Bar," coffee, tea, and cake are served daily from 3 pm to 5 pm. A midnight snack is available to guests from 11 pm to 1 am in the Boscage Restaurant. Local non-alcoholic drinks are available around the clock at one of the seven different bars (one of the bars is adult only). Local alcoholic drinks are included from 10 am to midnight.

Included Sports

An indoor fitness studio with various CrossFit equipment is available to guests free of charge from 8 am to 8 pm. The minimum age for the fitness studio is 16 years. Also, a tennis court (upon request, subject to availability, floodlights at an extra charge), beach volleyball, darts, boccia, mini-golf, sunset meditation, aqua aerobics, and aerobics.

Sports at cost

German-speaking dive base (International Diving), various water sports at the beach (local providers, at a fee).

Children's Programme

For the little holidaymakers, the SUNRISE Kids Planet Club is available (kids club multilingual, including German). It looks after children aged 3-12 and is open every day of the week. The resort also has a children's pool, a mini disco, and a separate area in the buffet restaurant. Babysitting service is available upon request for a fee.

Wellness

The spa area (10 am to 7 pm) has a sauna, jacuzzi, steam bath, and Turkish bath, and also offers guests various massages. The spa area is accessible for a fee and for guests aged 16 and over. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.
