Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen lasts for 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on board the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit of the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will also take place.

Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious meals. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and have a bathroom with bath/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select

Location

Clear sea water in front of a sandy shore with a beach hotel on the horizon under a blue sky.
The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened for the first time in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, hotel-owned sandy lagoon beach, offering the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty facilitates entry into deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 203 rooms and suites spread across various buildings. The complex has a reception with seating areas and an associated outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis Pool), as well as an Island and Kids pool (all pools are heated in winter). Restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico", which is open until the evening as an international à la carte restaurant and in the evening as an Italian à la carte restaurant. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the holiday resort has a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

The rooms (2FS) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 50 sqm) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a shower and a terrace.

The Executive Suites are larger (ES2, approx. 70 sqm) with similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms. The rooms have a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a dressing room, a bathroom with a separate shower, a seating area, and a terrace.
Also available as a swim-up room with direct access to the shared pool (EXG).

Deluxe Beach Front Swim-up Suite

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 sqm and, with similar amenities to the double rooms, have a terrace. The rooms are located very close to the beach.
Also available at an additional charge with direct access to a private pool (BSD).

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea and various freshly squeezed juices (7-10:30 AM and late riser's breakfast 10:30-11 AM upon request, included), lunch (1 PM-3 PM) and dinner (7 PM-10 PM) in buffet form. If needed, the following à la carte restaurants are also fully included for you (subject to availability and with prior reservation): "Basilico" (7 AM-10:30 AM à la carte breakfast, 12:30 PM-5 PM international cuisine, 7 PM-10 PM Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku", which is open from 6:30 PM to 10 PM and offers Asian cuisine. At the "Indigo Bar", coffee, tea, and cake are served daily from 3 PM to 5 PM. A midnight snack is available for guests from 11 PM to 1 AM in the Boscage Restaurant.
