Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The itinerary may shift depending on the day of embarkation.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, sightseeing of the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continuation from Esna.
Afterwards, travel to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Travel to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, which are distributed across several decks. The main restaurant provides for your physical well-being with delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Single Cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The spacious resort is located directly on the hotel's own sand/pebble beach (bathing shoes recommended) and is only about 40 km away from Marsa Alam airport.
Thanks to the gently sloping beach, you have the option for a relaxing beach holiday. On the other hand, the long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can discover the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

Facilities

The large newly opened hotel complex consists of 514 rooms. The comfortably and charmingly furnished complex features a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan" - Oriental, "Soprano Restaurant" - international cuisine), an à la carte restaurant ("Shell Fish" - seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants, various bars, and a café, The Bakery.
In the spacious outdoor area, there are 12 swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) and 3 children's pools (two of which are heatable in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with 32 water slides (11 for adults and 21 for children; partially heatable in winter) offers fun for young and old.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, cushions, and towels are free of charge at the pool and beach.
Customers of the "Pickalbatros Portofino Villaggio" can use all facilities of the sister hotel "Pickalbatros Portofino Vita" (RMF116).

Double room Superior

The modern Double Superior rooms (DSU, approx. 42-45m²) are equipped with a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.
Also bookable with pool view (DSP) or sea view (DMU) for an extra charge.

The modern rooms (2FS, approx. 70 m²) consist of a bedroom with a king-size bed and a bedroom with single beds and a sofa bed, and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.

Royal Suite Swim Up pool view

The Royal Suite (SWP) is approx. 105 m² in size and features bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (water included), safe, kettle, telephone (for a fee), TV, and a terrace with direct access to the communal swim-up pool. The rooms have two bedrooms.
(Additional contingent bookable under RMFA49 as Royal Suite Type B (RZ3)).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for security reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen applies a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Junior suite panorama sea view

The spacious Junior Suites Panoramic Sea View (J2M, approx. 52 m²) offer an impressive panoramic view of the Red Sea and the spacious resort complex due to their elevated location. The tastefully furnished suites feature a combined living and sleeping area with a king-size bed, a seating area, and a dressing area. Further amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, kettle, safe, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The private balcony with seating invites you to enjoy the wonderful view and relaxing holiday hours.

Double room Deluxe (RMFA49)

The Double rooms Deluxe correspond in size and equipment to the double rooms (DD2). Also bookable with pool view (DBP) and sea view (DDM).

Bungalow Deluxe sea view (RMFA49)

The Bungalow Deluxe have a size of approx. 35 m² and are equipped with air conditioning, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, flat-screen TV, balcony or terrace, and have a sea view (2BM).

Superior Bungalow sea view (RMFA49)

The Superior Bungalows are similar in equipment to the Bungalow Deluxe but are larger at approx. 45 m² (2UB).
