Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

The itinerary may shift depending on the day of embarkation.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins distributed over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The spacious resort is located directly on the hotel's own sand/gravel beach (beach shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam Airport.
Due to the gently sloping beach, you have the opportunity for a relaxing beach vacation on one hand. On the other hand, the long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can discover the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

Facilities

The large, newly opened hotel complex consists of 514 rooms. The cozy and charmingly furnished facility has a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan"-oriental, "Soprano Restaurant"-international cuisine), an à-la-carte restaurant ("Shell Fish"-seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants and various bars and a café, The Bakery.
In the spacious outdoor area, there are 12 swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) and 3 children's pools (two of which are heatable in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with 32 water slides (11 for adults and 21 for children; partially heatable in winter) offers fun for all ages.
Sunbeds, umbrellas, cushions, and towels are free of charge at the pool and on the beach.
Guests of the "Pickalbatros Portofino Villaggio" can use all facilities of the sister hotel "Pickalbatros Portofino Vita" (RMF116).

The modern Double Superior rooms (DSU, approx. 42-45 m²) are equipped with a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.

Royal Suite Swim Up pool view

The Royal Suites (SWP) are approx. 105 m² in size and feature bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (water included), safe, kettle, telephone (for a fee), TV and terrace with direct access to the communal swim-up pool. The rooms have two bedrooms.
(Additional contingent bookable under RMFA49 as Royal Suite type B (RZ3)).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk potential for small children.
Therefore, for security reasons, schauinsland-reisen has a minimum age requirement of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Junior suite panoramic sea view

The spacious Junior Suites Panoramic Sea View (J2M, approx. 52 m²) offer an impressive panoramic view of the Red Sea and the vast resort facility due to their elevated location. The tastefully furnished suites have a combined living and sleeping area with a king-size bed, seating area, as well as a dressing area. Further equipment includes air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, kettle, safe, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The private balcony with seating invites you to enjoy the wonderful view and relaxing vacation hours.

Double room Deluxe (RMFA49)

The Double rooms Deluxe correspond in size and equipment to the double rooms (DD2). Also bookable with pool view (DBP) and sea view (DDM).

Bungalow Deluxe sea view (RMFA49)

The Bungalows Deluxe have a size of approx. 35 m² and are equipped with air conditioning, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, flat-screen TV, balcony or terrace, and have sea view (2BM).

Superior Bungalow sea view (RMFA49)

The Superior Bungalows are similar in equipment to the Bungalows Deluxe, but are larger at approx. 45 m² (2UB).
