Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers between services. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The stay at the hotel before or after the cruise depends on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).

Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then continue to Kom Ombo.

Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, which are distributed across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Indulge in culinary delights at the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness room, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck, cool off in the pool, and enjoy the fantastic views of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same features as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
The balconies of the Royal Suites also feature a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same features as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same features as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and seating area, but with a window that cannot be opened.

The JAZ Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is situated on a beautiful, gently shelving beach section in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for the settlement of turtles and features a house reef that invites you to snorkel and dive. Your holiday home is located about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

Facilities

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites distributed throughout the entire grounds. Among these are various superior and deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very appealing, noble design and was conceived very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort as well as the bay and features a reception desk with various seating options as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area features a large pool landscape that extends through the complex. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heatable in winter). Sun loungers and parasols are available to guests free of charge in the pool area as well as at the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen-Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the double superior rooms and feature a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be located on the top floor of the hotel, thus offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Double Superior Swim-up Advantage Room

The double superior swim-up rooms (DWP) have the same features as the double superior rooms, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also have the following amenities exclusive to schauinsland-reisen:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: Coffee/tea maker in the room, additional 2 bathrobes, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.

The main restaurant “Marasi Restaurant” offers international cuisine for breakfast (07-10 a.m.), lunch (12:30-02:30 p.m.), and dinner (07-10 p.m.) in buffet form. In addition, a late-riser breakfast is available there from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Guests also have access to two à la carte restaurants (reservation required), which are included three times per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but afterwards for a fee: “Tao Tao” restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant “Bay View” offers Mediterranean fine-dining cuisine.
