Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum (3) in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Additionally, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the breathtaking view of the Nile landscape.

The tastefully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) than the suites, with otherwise the same amenities, and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for its turtle population and has a house reef ideal for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday accommodation is about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found in the port of Port Ghalib (approx. 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the resort. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very appealing, elegant design and was conceived very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay and features a reception with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area boasts a large pool landscape that winds through the complex. There are seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for guests in the pool area and on the private beach section, and bath and beach towels are already provided in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are at your disposal.

Double Room Superior

The friendly furnished Double Rooms Superior (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. Also available with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also available for single occupancy.

Double Room Superior guaranteed top floor sea view

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Rooms Superior and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also available for single occupancy (MSE).

Double Room Premium Swim-up

The Double Rooms Premium Swim-up (DWP) are bookable as Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms and have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also feature the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket in the room upon arrival
- VIP Treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, plus 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and assorted Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, à la carte restaurants are included only once).

Double Room Deluxe

The Double Deluxe (DD2) rooms have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior but are larger (approx. 56m²) and are suitable for families due to their layout (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Available with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as a swim-up room (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. Furthermore, the Executive Suites have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² and, with the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. The rooms also have a large terrace with access to a private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea views.

Double Room Superior Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7-10 am), lunch (12:30-2:30 pm), and dinner (7-10 pm) in buffet style. There is also a late riser's breakfast from 10:30 am to 12 pm. Additionally, guests have access to two à la carte restaurants (reservations required), which are included once per stay/guest (excluding Teppanyaki), but are then subject to a charge: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or teppanyaki. The "Bay View" à la carte restaurant offers Mediterranean fine dining. Tea time is served from 12:30 pm to 5 pm. Various bars offer refreshments and snacks throughout the day, such as "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.
Men must wear long trousers and appropriate footwear; no tank tops or shorts of any length.
Shorts are acceptable for women at dinner, but hot pants and very short shorts are not.
