The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).

Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.

Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the option to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Once you arrive, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

JAZ Elite Amara Resort

Location

The JAZ Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the prime beachfront area of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for its turtle population and has a house reef perfect for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday destination is about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping opportunities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (approximately 5 kilometers away).

Facilities

The stylishly built hotel complex features a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the resort. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very appealing, elegant design and has been generously conceived. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay, and includes a reception with various seating areas and a lobby bar. The outdoor area boasts a large pool landscape that winds through the resort. There are seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available to guests free of charge in the pool area and on the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex offers a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with panoramic views of the bay and the pool landscape. The hotel's own Mivida Spa is directly adjacent (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

Double Room Superior

The brightly furnished Double Rooms Superior (DSU, approx. 51 sqm) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. Also bookable for single occupancy (DSP, DSS, DMU).

Double Room Superior Guaranteed Sea View Top Floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Rooms Superior and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Double Room Premium Swim-up

The Double Rooms Premium Swim-up (DWP) can be booked as schauinsland-reisen Original rooms and have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, but with direct access to the shared pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also offer the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the room
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, plus 2 bathrobes, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and assorted Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, à la carte restaurants are included only once).

Double Room Deluxe

The Double Deluxe rooms (DD2) are larger than the Double Rooms Superior (approx. 56 sqm) with the same amenities and are suitable for families due to their layout (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150 sqm) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM), and dinner (7-10 PM) in buffet style. There is also a late riser breakfast from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. Additionally, guests have two à la carte restaurants available (reservations required), which are included three times per stay/guest (excluding Teppanyaki), but then for a fee: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The "Bay View" à la carte restaurant offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. Tea time is served from 12:30 PM to 5 PM.
