Location

The 5-star luxury hotel complex is located in the heart of the beautiful Madinat Coraya. Access to the sea is possible via a jetty. From here, the picturesque underwater world of Madinat Coraya can be discovered. The resort also has its own sandy beach section and is only approx. 5 km from Marsa Alam Airport.

Facilities

The beautiful adults-only complex (bookable for guests aged 16 and over) has 290 elegantly furnished rooms and suites. The spacious reception area offers guests a reception desk and a lobby bar with seating. The hotel has a souvenir shop and a hairdresser. For the culinary well-being of the guests, there is a main restaurant and four à la carte restaurants ("Basilico" - Italian, "Rocca" - Asian, "Zaytoun" - Oriental, "Mashawi" - Seafood), which will spoil you with delicious food. The various bars offer a wide selection of drinks.
In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five generously sized pools (partially heated in winter) and inviting sun terraces.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Royal Suite Sea View Private Pool

The Royal Suites (RSM) are luxuriously appointed and have the same amenities as the double rooms. The Royal Suite is approx. 160 sqm and is additionally equipped with 2 bathrooms with bathtub, jacuzzi, living area, sleeping area, and a terrace with a private pool.

Superior Double Room

The comfortably furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU) are 40 sqm and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, LED TV, safe, telephone (for a fee), balcony, and garden view.
Also bookable at an extra charge with pool view (DSP), side sea view (D2S), or sea view (DMU) as well as for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).

Superior Double Room Swim Up

The Superior Double Rooms Swim Up (DWP) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, are slightly more spacious (approx. 50 sqm), and have direct pool access from the terrace.
Also bookable for single occupancy at an extra charge (EWP).

Deluxe Double Room Sea View

The Deluxe Double Rooms Sea View (DM2) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, are more spacious (approx. 70 sqm), and additionally feature a dressing room and a balcony.

Deluxe Double Room Swim-Up

The Deluxe Double Rooms Swim Up (DWU) are bookable as schauinsland-original rooms. The rooms have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, are more spacious (approx. 70 sqm), and have direct access to the shared pool.
Also bookable with sea view (DWS) and for single occupancy (WU1/EWS).

Premium Deluxe Double Room Swim Up

The Premium Deluxe Double Rooms Swim Up (PWS) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, are more spacious (approx. 75 sqm), with an integrated jacuzzi and access to the shared pool.
Also bookable with sea view at an extra charge (DUM).

RMFA39: Premium Deluxe Double Room Sea View

The Premium Deluxe Double Rooms Sea View have similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger at approximately 75m² and feature a sea view (P2M).

All Inclusive

Breakfast from 7 AM to 11 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM buffet style. Optionally, dinner in each of the à la carte restaurants once per stay (reservations required).
Snacks from 12:30 PM to 4 PM, afternoon tea from 3 PM to 5 PM. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from 10 AM to 12 AM.
Appropriate attire is requested in the restaurants. Long trousers for men and no beach shoes.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Route:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to the West Bank of Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).

Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.

Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked additionally on site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Be pampered with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.
Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot beverages. Lunch and dinner include two soft drinks and a small bottle of water per person.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore or Oriental nights.

Cabins

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or a double bed, air conditioning (individually regulated), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the French balcony also features a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and may be without a French balcony and seating area, but with a non-opening window.
