When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Depending on the embarkation day, the route may vary.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an option for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or a double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z), while otherwise equipped the same as the suites, are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a window that cannot be opened.

Located in the beautiful bay of Marsa Mubarak, the Iberotel Costa Mares is part of the renowned Jaz Hotel Group. The coral reef in front of the hotel offers a fascinating underwater world for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the best-known spots for diving with dugongs and turtles.
The nearest town with a beautiful marina and various shopping and entertainment options is about 5 km away. The distance to Marsa Alam Airport is only about 8 km.

The modern hotel complex (from Winter 2025/2026, Adults Only from 16 years!) has a total of 208 rooms spread across the main building and annexes. The stylish hotel is equipped with a modern lobby with a reception, a fitness studio, various shops, and a spa area. For your culinary enjoyment, there is a buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace and two à la carte restaurants. The "Anchor" offers Italian specialties, and the "Sands" is located on the beach and offers international cuisine (for a minimum stay of 7 nights, both restaurants are included once a week - subject to availability and reservation required), as well as several bars.
The well-maintained outdoor area includes a swimming pool (heated in winter).
Sun loungers, cushions, and umbrellas are available to guests free of charge by the pool and on the beach. Fresh beach and bath towels are provided daily in the rooms.

Deluxe Family Room Pool or Sea View

The Deluxe Family Rooms Pool or Sea View (FMD) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms Bay View, but are larger (approx. 45 m²).
