Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always takes place for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, a balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening, sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.
Lunch and dinner, as well as overnight on board.
Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then there is an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.

Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals for your culinary enjoyment. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

Located in the beautiful bay of Marsa Mubarak, the Iberotel Costa Mares hotel belongs to the renowned JAZ Hotel Group. The coral reef in front offers a fascinating underwater world for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the best-known spots for diving with manatees and turtles.
The nearest town with a beautiful marina and various shopping and entertainment options is about 5 km away. The distance to Marsa Alam Airport is only about 8 km.

Facilities

The modern hotel complex (from Winter 2025/2026, Adults Only for 16 years and older!) has a total of 208 rooms spread across the main building and outbuildings. The stylish hotel is equipped with a modern lobby with reception, a fitness studio, various shops, and a spa area. For your culinary enjoyment, there is a buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace and two à la carte restaurants.
