When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Route:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z), with otherwise identical amenities to the suites, are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

Located in the beautiful bay of Marsa Mubarak, the Iberotel Costa Mares hotel belongs to the renowned Jaz Hotel Group. The coral reef in front offers a fascinating underwater world for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the most famous spots for diving with dugongs and turtles.
The nearest town with a beautiful marina and various shopping and entertainment facilities is about 5 km away. The distance to Marsa Alam Airport is only about 8 km.

The modern hotel complex (from Winter 2025/2026 Adult only, 16 years and older!) has a total of 208 rooms spread across the main building and annexes. The stylish hotel is equipped with a modern lobby with a reception, a fitness studio, various shops, and a spa area. For your culinary needs, there is a buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace and two à la carte restaurants. The "Anchor" offers Italian specialties, and "Sands" is located on the beach and offers international cuisine (for a minimum stay of 7 nights, both restaurants are included once a week - subject to availability and reservation required), as well as several bars.
The well-maintained outdoor area features a swimming pool (heated in winter).
Sun loungers, cushions, and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach. Beach and bath towels are provided fresh daily in your room.

Junior Suite Sea View

The Junior Suites Sea View (J2M) are equipped like the Double Superior rooms but are larger (120 sqm) and have direct sea views.

Deluxe Family Room Pool or Sea View

The Deluxe Family Rooms Pool or Sea View (FMD) have the same amenities as the Double Superior Bay View rooms but are larger (approx. 45 sqm).
The rooms are located on the ground floor.

Deluxe Family Room Bay View

The Deluxe Family Rooms Bay View (BDV) are approx. 46 sqm and consist of 2 rooms with an interconnecting door, with garden or beach view, otherwise with the same amenities as the Double Superior.
