Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise follows, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. Embarkation: Thursday
The itinerary may shift depending on the day of embarkation.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Followed by the opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse and stroll. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Located in the beautiful bay of Marsa Mubarak, the JAZ Costa Mares Hotel belongs to the renowned JAZ hotel group. The offshore coral reef offers a fascinating underwater world for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the most famous spots for diving with dugongs and turtles.
The nearest town with a beautiful marina and various shopping and entertainment options is approx. 5 km away. The distance to Marsa Alam airport is only about 8 km.

Facilities

The modern hotel complex (adults-only; bookable from 16 years) has a total of 208 rooms, distributed in the main building and annexes. The stylish hotel is equipped with a modern reception hall, a gym, various shops, and a spa area. Culinary needs are catered for by a buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace and two à-la-carte restaurants. The "Anchor" offers Italian specialties, while the "Sands" is located on the beach and offers international cuisine (with a minimum stay of 7 nights, both restaurants are included once per week - subject to availability and reservation) as well as several bars.
In the well-kept grounds, there is a swimming pool (heatable in winter).

The superior bay view double rooms (SVB) are 29 m² and feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, TV, air conditioning, coffee and tea maker, safe, telephone, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony.

Superior Garden View Family Room

The superior family rooms with garden view (F2S) have the same amenities as the superior doubles (29 m²), but with an additional sofa bed. The rooms are located on the ground floor.
