Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be into Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise follows, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st Day:
Embarkation takes place on Thursdays.
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West
to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, cruise to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue the journey to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and cruise to Kom Ombo, where you have free time.
Continue the journey to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3)
Then an opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visit a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5th Day:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3). Breakfast box is included.

6th Day:
Breakfast on board. Then a visit to the Kom Ombo Temple (1,2,3).
Afterwards, continue via Edfu and Esna to Luxor.

The Nile cruise ship from the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain features a total of 77 outside cabins spread across various decks. Location

Situated in a slightly elevated position above the beach bay of Madinat Coraya lies the hotel JAZ Lamaya. The beautiful, intact house reef with corals that partly reach the shore offers ideal conditions for snorkeling and diving. Access to the sea is approximately 150 m from the hotel. A jetty leads directly from the hotel into the water. Numerous shops, bars, and a beautiful promenade are located in the idyllic harbor town of Port Ghalib. The distance to Port Ghalib as well as to Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 8 km.

This hotel complex was specially designed for a relaxing family holiday. The very elegant and spacious resort was built in a Moorish-oriental style and has a total of 389 rooms, distributed between a main building and several two- and three-story residential buildings. The hotel features a stylish lobby with reception and seating areas, a main restaurant with a non-smoking zone, a hairdresser, several shops, a bar, and an amphitheater. In the extensive outdoor area, there is a generously landscaped pool complex with four swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter), a separate children's pool (heated in winter), a hangout area, and a beach/pool bar, as well as a new food court on the beach with snacks, drinks, and desserts.
