Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all inter-transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM balloon excursion (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening trip to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.

Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Located in a slightly elevated position above the beach bay of Madinat Coraya lies the JAZ Lamaya Hotel. The beautiful, intact house reef with corals that partly reach to the shore offers ideal conditions for snorkeling and diving. Access to the sea is approximately 150 m away from the hotel. A jetty leads into the water directly at the hotel. Numerous shops, bars, and a beautiful promenade are located in the idyllic harbor town of Port Ghalib. The distance to Port Ghalib as well as to Marsa Alam Airport is about 8 km.

Facilities

This hotel complex was specially designed for a relaxing family vacation. The very elegant and spacious resort was built in a Moorish-Oriental style and features a total of 389 rooms, distributed over a main building and several two- and three-story residential buildings. The hotel features a stylish lobby with a reception and seating areas, a main restaurant with a non-smoking zone, a hairdresser, several shops, a bar, and an amphitheater. In the extensive outdoor area is the spacious pool landscape with four swimming pools (three of which can be heated in winter) with a separate children's pool (heated in winter), a hangout area, and a beach/pool bar, as well as a new food court at the beach with snacks, drinks, and desserts. Bath towels, sun loungers, and umbrellas are available free of charge at the hotel's own beach and at the pools. The Aqua Coraya water park is within walking distance and makes children's hearts beat faster.
