Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must arrive in Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must depart from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Depending on the day of embarkation, the itinerary may change.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon journey to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning travel to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread over three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Refreshing drinks are provided by two bars, one of which is located on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also has sufficient loungers for necessary relaxation as well as a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) feature a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same facilities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11 m²) and with only one bed.

JAZ Lamaya

Location

The JAZ Lamaya hotel is located in a slightly elevated position above the beach bay of Madinat Coraya. The beautiful intact house reef with corals that extend in some places to the shore offers ideal conditions for snorkeling and diving. Access to the sea is about 150 m from the hotel. A jetty leads into the water directly at the hotel. Numerous shops, bars, and a beautiful promenade are located in the idyllic harbour town of Port Ghalib. The distance to Port Ghalib as well as to the Marsa Alam airport is about 8 km.

This hotel complex was specifically designed for a relaxing family holiday. The very elegant and spacious resort was built in the Moorish-oriental style and has a total of 389 rooms, spread over a main building and several two- and three-storey residential buildings. The hotel features a stylish lobby with reception and seating areas, a main restaurant with a non-smoking zone, a hairdresser, several shops, a bar, and an amphitheatre. In the extensive outdoor area, you will find the spacious pool landscape with four swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) with a separate children's pool (heated in winter), a hangout area, and a beach/pool bar, as well as a new food court on the beach with snacks, drinks, and desserts.
