Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on board the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation is on Thursdays.
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West
to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Temple of Habu (1,2,3).
Then continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and sail to Kom Ombo, where you have free time.
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3)
Then the opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3). Breakfast package is included.

Then continue via Edfu and Esna to Luxor.

Facilities

The Nile cruise ship of the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain has a total of 77 outside cabins spread across various decks. There is also a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, and a sun deck with a pool and bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Madinat Coraya Bay is a fantastic holiday destination that offers ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam Airport is about 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious adults-only (bookable from 16 years) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms features a warm and oriental ambiance. Facilities include an inviting lobby with reception, ensuring you feel comfortable from the very first moment, as well as several shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. For culinary variety, there is a main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean cuisine), and various bars.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a Dine Around: per stay, one visit to the Italian à la carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" restaurant, or the oriental "Zaytoun" is included for All Inclusive guests (reservations required).

Breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, all buffet style. During the day, there are various snacks for light hunger.
In the afternoon, tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cakes from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, and ice cream from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as fresh juice, from 10 AM to midnight. "Pharao Club" guests receive one à la carte dinner per stay (at "Fayruz"), reservation required.
